WTB 3.06 celeron D socket 775 processor

greetings,
looking to purchase a rather inexpensive 3.06 celeron d socket 775 LGA775 and working processor from a private owner as above to "experiment" with to fit in a dell 110 desktop...thanks!

here is another reply (inc. the spelling errors) i received from someone regarding the fan/sink combo i mentioned earlier about mounting the processor/sink/fan;

Intel LGA775 socket motherboards doesn't come with retantion frame by default (unlike socket 478). The reason is because there are different types of mounting methods as I mentioned before. The motherboard should have the metal cpu socket and 4 pre-drilled holes just around the socket. It's in symmetrical square shape, so the retantion plate usually in X shape.

You will have to take out the motherboard, flip it over, try to disassemble the current frame on the motherboard. Then the X shaped frame would be a perfect fit."

i sent him my first request over a week ago or thereabouts. i do not know if he has been on today or not as it is not my week to watch him...:D
