Portable OS? Well it sure wouldnt be windows, the windows folder alone (xp) takes up more than 2 gb. Add all the programs that I have, and you end up having around 15GB. Now Linux you could do, but not a lot of programsdiroga said:i'd buy that if i really needed 1gig. i guess if you want a portable OS with a lot of programs a 1gig drive is usefull...
their prices are normally quite high.Raditz said:Bestbuy.
Compusa definitely has the cheapest prices for an actual store that I have ever seen, and I happen to live almost right next to one.palmmann said:their prices are normally quite high.
so does office depot, they have a 128meg for $4 right nowBobo said:Compusa definitely has the cheapest prices for an actual store that I have ever seen, and I happen to live almost right next to one.
well Compusa just had a 2GB drive for $30, which IMO is a much better deal and Office Depot is really for office furniture and supplies and such, whereas Compusa is for, you guessed it, computers.palmmann said:so does office depot, they have a 128meg for $4 right now

can't, the sale was a while ago and even so, you have to be there at like 5am, those things fly off the shelves so fast, and they are clearance, so no restocking (at least not at that price)palmmann said:DUDE!!! gotta get me one of those!!!
