Wow, the Ultra X-Connect must really suck...

It's $10 dollars after MIR! Does this thing really suck? I have heard of them alot and I wonder why it is so cheap.

It's cheap because of rebates and companies offer rebates because they don't always receive them, or so they say(that means more money for them). I have one and it works perfectly, the only problem is that the cables are a little stiff and is a 20-pin, no 24-pin. I've seen antivirus programs for free after rebates but that doesn't mean they suck. Another reason why it's cheap is because it's the old model, at least 2 newer models have been made. The newer models are better because they use bigger fans, flex-force cables, dual 12v rails, 20/24 pin, etc.

i have an ultra x-connect and it works great. the tech support is also very helpful. i bought mine for only $30 and my friend got his for $10

I own one also, good PSU. Pretty quiet too.

ahha dude, i got one, runnin my huuuuuge rig. plenty of power. its good.

Crappy? No. But there are better PSUs. However, at that price its a steal, assuming it'll power your system adequetly.
