OK i posted in security but it may belonge here.LOL.But any way how do i stop someone from getting a signal off my wireless router,(my neighbor). It would be ok if he was to ask to use the signal but he jus descided to laugh about it to my wife.

You'll have to set up an encryption where you have to type in an SSID password to be able to connect to the network. If you have the CD that came with your router, it should be able to help you set it up.

I'll do some searching and see if I can figure out a different way right off the top of my head, but I'm sure there probally is. I don't see why it would slow anything down at all, so you should be fine there.

Call up your neighbor and ask if they get can get on your internet or something because you can't.

a couple other things to do. Turn off SSID broadcasting so he doesn't see your network to begin with and also consider using MAC filtering. Mac filtering allows only the mac addresses to connect that you put in the list. You can get the mac address by looking at the wireless card.
All of this is done through your web browser connecting to your routers configuration page.

Or just turn the ssid with the wep on, and change the SSID to "Neighbor is nosey bastard"

Funny! He could also use AirSnare and send him a message. Telling him his connection is being monitored by the ISP for illegal connectivity.
