Wireless Router Question

I have a DI-614+ router and a d-link wireless adaptor, I just installed it and its saying that it is connected, and it shows that it is connecting and recieving at 22mb/s but i'm not getting internet. Does anyone know what might be the problem???

look in the bottom right hand corner of the desktop (im assuming ur runnning xp). you will see the little icon with the 2 monitors on it. right click this and select "select available networks (or something like this-what it says exactly i dont remember)" u will see a small box that is unchecked and it will say "allow me to connect to this network/connection" check the box and click "OK".
