Wireless Router Problems

I have a netgear wireless router. I was trying to connect on our laptop and it said it was connected but never really opened any internet programs.

I also found out that it said that it was searching for Networks Address. How can I fix this?

is it encrypted?

make sure you dont have a filter with only specific mac addresses allowed. Or make sure your IP pool is not set to small.
