Wireless Problems.....

Hi all,

Yesterday, I bought a wireless router and set it up, all according to the intsructions. I've got my Family PC linked upto it and my laptop 'linked' to it (if that's the right word) however at any one time only one of these can use the internet. Is this meant to happen? Or do you have to mess around with some settings?

does it say anything about an IP address conflict when you try and connect both at the same time?
and do you mean the laptop is linked to the PC? or they are both linked to the router?
 
The PC is connected to the router, and the PC has a USB drive enabling it to pick up the wireless signal. The latop is already wireles enabled.

It doesn't say anything about an IP address conflict.

I'm really confused!
