wireless problem

ok heres what has happened...i installed i wireless router to my home computer and it seemed to work fine in the sense that i could get it on all computers in the house but latly it seems that the internet isnt working....what i did because my home computer is not wireless friendly is that in the back of the router i put the normal cable from the back of modem into the LAN port on the router....now sometimes my computer doesnt recieve internet on all my computers and not just my home one...im confused her and i could use some help....
 
well my router is a D-Link Rangbooster and i dont have a card for my desktop because i just connecter the router and the desktop with the LAN cable that once connected the modem to the desktop and my laptop came with wireless capabilities and both started off working fine but then didnt work but then worked and on and on.....
 
log into the router, try doing a release and renew of the IP address. Also double check you are getting a proper IP from your internet modem. If all your pc's are getting valid private address, could be the modem to router connection.
