Wireless Printer Issue

I have a client who has an Epson Stylus SX510w wireless printer on his home network. His pc is both wireless and hardwired to wireless router. His wifes pc is purely wireless and runs great, connects to the printer within seconds, no issue. His pc, however, is extremely slow in sending printjobs and most of the time when he presses to print a document it hangs. Any ideas why one would print/connect no problem, yet his which is both wireless enabled and hard wired to the router does not. Both their internet connections are fine.

He should not be connected wirelessly and hardwired at the same time. Have him pick one or the other.

Then uninstall the printer software, then reinstall it and he should be good to go. If not, post back.

Hi,

No change. I disabled the LAN connection and tried, then disabled the wireless, no change. Removed and reinstalled the software and no change. It takes a good minute and a half before it gets sent to the printer, sometimes it just hangs/ freezes and does nothing.

The settings are exactly the same as on his wifes pc whose connects and prints very quickly.

Running out of ideas to be honest, anyone care to input?

Thanks.

Look in the event viewer to see if there are any error messages explaining what is going on with it. Look under application and system section.

To get to event viewer, right click on "my computer" click on manage, click on event viewer on the left when the window comes up.
