Wireless only dropping only on 1 pc

Well happy new years everyone!. Okay i have the problem with only one desktop out of the two. I have a D-link Di-524 wireless router. both desktops are connected using Dlink DWL-120 usb adapters. I just installed a new hard drive in the pc that keeps disconnecting,i used the same disk i used in my sisters pc and she dosent have a problem stayin connecting. my signal says its good,, but it never did this , usally ill be on a i m for ever but i noticed it will jus be sitting there and ill see it disconect and reconnect ,,very fast, its annoying, my sister says on her pc nothing happens to her like that,

anyone have suggestions that i go about fixing it,, this never happened it just started when i put a new hard drive and installed windows,,

First of all, where is Moosic? Never heard of it. :rolleyes:

Reinstall the drivers for your adapter. Check for interference (microwaves, wireless phones, etc. anything on RF). How far away from the router is it?
 
Moosic is right next to scranton,pa its a little town.
The router is about 2 rooms away, also the only wireless phone is my cell
