Wireless Networking

Ok, we have a D-Link DSL-G604T in our house providing wireless internet, although, I want to be able to also print to anywhere in the house using either the Ethernet-connected old tower, the 2 laptops or the Sig Rig when it works and is connected by mains piggybacking, is it possible to connect our Epson Stylus C84 and HP Photosmart C3100 to the Router so we can print from anywhere, if so, how? The Epson sits 4ft from the Router but the C3100 is upstairs in the other study...

i believe you can just get a small print server. its a little box that the printer plugges in to, then this box connects to your network via a switch or router.

Or, if you have all the computers on a shared network:

On the computer which the printer is connected to, go to Control Panel => Printers and Faxes => Right-click on the printer you want to share, then 'Properties' => Sharing tab => Click the "Share this printer" radio button.

You should then be able to access it from your computer.

sharing printers sucks in a wireless enviroment, because those wifi clients either need to have the printer hooked to them to share it, or have to have another client that is constantly on to be able to print to it. One of my clients in the past wanted the same thing, and I ended up buying a small usb/ethernet print server and just adding it to their router. worked flawlessly.
