Hello everyone,
I am just woundering if wireless networking is worth the money which u spend for it, and does the netwok ever crash like if it loses a signal, and is it that useful????
 
well, wireless is a luxery with laptops, but with desktop, i see no point for it.. just hook up to the line... With wireless, you can experiance signal loss, kbs loss ect...
 
it is not often you will have signal loss and it is worh it if your desktop is not close to a phone line but it depends on the individual what do you want do you want to surf the net uot on the patio or in the bedroom if so then yes its worth it. but if you just want wireless just to be wireless the no its not worth the expense.
 
yeah i have 2 playstation 2's online via wireless network adapters.. and i also have one desktop computer with a wireless adapter. i just have the wireless 802.11b and it works fine.
 
wireless just isn't worth the money unless you have a laptop with a built-in wireless card otherwise you have to buy the card. and to put the cherry on top, if you use 2.4 GHz phones, you can experience a choppy signal and wireless then becomes a biznatch
