Ok first here is the setup. Two desktops all the time and on laptop part of the time. we have a linksys wireless B router and a Linksys wireless B reciever on the second desktop. I have had internet on both before but now i dont because i was trying to set up file sharing. I would like to start from the beginning with your help. I would like to set up a wireless network that shares internet, files, and printers. thanks

if you have highspeed then you should be able to plug in the cable modem or dsl modem into the wan port. as for file sharing, while all the computers are connected to the network if you have windows 2000 or later computer then you can right click the icon and click sharing it should be pretty easy from there
