k, it turns out i dont have a internet connection up in my room and i have a ps2[online] and a computer.

they are on opposite sides of the room [upstairs]
my lynksis [sp?] router is wireless and in the basement.

can i buy a wireless card for my computer? like so there is now ethernet?

and can i do the same for my ps2? for those who dont know, ps2 has an ethernet conection in the back of it. can that support a wireless connection or will i need to run a cord for my ps2?

thanks-Joe

You can buy a wireless card for your PC, although if its in the basement the signal may be kinda weak. As for the PS2, you would porbably need to hook it up to your computer via a wired ethernet cable, or run it directly to the router in your basement.

ok, also how much will it cost for a good one/company.
ill take alook myself on newegg, but more input on this would be great.

nonono i want the ps2 to be wireless...n/m i dont think i can do that.
and if it matters, my router is "g" version
someone said i need to know what kind, "b" or "g"
