Hey!
I posted here a while back about how my wireless connection keeps dropping. Some people thought that switching off Wireless Zero could help, others that the router is overheating.
Now, I think iv narrowed the problem to it cutting me off mostly when I am dowloading etc (although it does drop the connection when not- just not as often -I think, it might not drop it). My net speed here is only half a Meg, so when downloading its only about 60kbs, hardly huge traffic for the router to cope with. The routers a USR8054, and its defo not my wireless card, its works on other networks fine.
Also, I have another router I could link up and try, a "Linksys SRX WRT54GX", but when I link it up to the system I get wireless connectivity but not internet ( even though I follow the steps perfectly, I think it could be a compatibility problem with the USR modem.)
Cheers,
