Wireless Broadband Routers

Hello,

I’m wondering if there’s any high powered wireless routers. I want to transmit wireless over a large area. Really I need to know what the most powerful router is you can get . Maybe I wouldn’t need the most powerful ones but i need to see. An alternative thing was that I could use wireless boosters or something. If anyone could help then it would be greatly appreciated !

Its a area of loads of different buildings which are used as like offices the walls are not solid brick. Any ideas ?

300ft? 600ft? 1500ft? I need an approx size to help you. Loads of buildings? Lareg buildings? Do you want to hit every floor?

Well i would want it to manage a radius of about 200m im not 100% sure of the exact distance but i could find out. The buildings are like terraced and yes i do want it available to all floors for the PC's we got upstairs. The buidlings aint that big really. Total ground space is about 20m by 20m . I do not think the walls are solid brick however the floors are poured concrete. I hope this is enough information for some help

I dnt kno if this means that ive got to have a more industrial wireless system ? Or i may need to get a ariel to imporve range etc.. of a standard wireless
 
this sounds like a fairly large project. i would suggest an access point in the second building. That could connect the signal from the one to the other and also put off wireless signal in both building.
 
I would say you need a local access point where the large amount of computers are. Dont try to be cheapa nd grab both floors with one router, as you will have a harder tiime with connection issues..
 
what would be perfect is if i could have a broadband router or a acess point. And then bridge that further and further. But i need some sort of way of monitoring each computers connection and need to set a bandwidth limit for each pc
 
I am unaware of any type of hardware which can do this. There might be software which can be implemented into a server though... sorry I cant help.
 
ok mate . you know any software ? ill take a look neways theres prob summin out there. i could do wid summin that puts several broadband connections together into one and then i can use a pc and software to distribute it
 
basically all it is i want to do is set up wireless for my office. Now im getting more and more new PC's in and i want to get them all rigged up to the net. So i will need to be buying more and more internet connections all the time. As far as i know this is the only way i can increase my internet speeds. Now i want to make sure each pc gets a 2mb connection each . So i take it i will need to put a 2mb bandwidth restriction on each PC. Im not really a expert on PC's but i know all of this can be done. I am strugglin tho to come up with a solution !
