Wired Network

Looking to create a wired network between a computer and an xbox on different stories, would an ethernet wire burn in the ducts? thats the only way to do this without moving the tv and system.

No, it would not burn. The ducts only get to around 40C max, I think one of those cables can stand eh....around 60C would be my best guess. You'll be fine.
