windows xp home on a domain

recently i have made a domain on one of my server computers and when i tryed to sign my computer that is running xp home onto the domain there was not a choice to do it so do i have to upgrade to pro with a 'perfectly' legal version of windows xp pro or is there something that i have missed?
 
XP home = Do domains
XP PRO = Domains

If you dont have PRO, the LEGAL way of obtaining it... would be to buy it.


IF you dont want to buy it, dont use the Domain.

The stripped down version of XP was created for the average home user who does not have the need for a domain or advanced privileges. It sucks, but its better than Microsoft forcing you to pay the XP Pro price even if you will never utilize those extra network features.
