Windows Wireless Zero Config Problem

hey everyone, got a little problem. recently upgraded my 98 box to XP Pro installed drivers for my USB2.0 802.11g (54Mbps) Wireless Network Adapter all went fine, the "driver" consists of a few file and a control program to join networks etc...

As this new installation of windows XP was with SP2 aswell it has the zer config tool for wireless networks, this is trying to takeover, i dont mind it taking over, surely it uses less resources than the extra program. but heres the problem.....

My network is runs on a hidden SSID and 128bit WEP (ASCII). I know these details off by heart so i KNOW THEY ARE RIGHT, i enter them into the zero config utility and it doesnt find any networks.... i go back to the bundled program and it finds/connects the network perfectly.

Is there something im missing inside the wireless zero config util..??

Cheers, dragon

nevermind, done it now, uninstalled the 3rd party app and force fed windows the drivers for the adapter, then managed the connection through WZC tool.

Thanks for your help, dragon
