windows reinstall, defaults wierd resolution?

so i just reinstalled windows on my machine, and it defaulted to the lowest resolution possible. i checked a couple of different resolution options to see which one looks the most like it did before the reinstall, but none of the options looks like it at all. does anybody know about this and has figured it out? is there something else i should be looking at other than resolution?
 
Check the device manager and see what drivers are missing. You most likely need to install your display driver.
