I currently have Vista 64 bit on the hard drive in my Sig.
I want to dual boot it with XP, or if I can, get rid of Vista, keep my recovery partition and run XP but keep all of my files.
I have an xp disk ready to go.

In order to keep all your files you would have to have a flash drive or a blank disk to save things to I am not sure if you can keep your recovery partition or not though

Why don't you go with virtual machines? You could have Vista and Xp running at the same time with no problems. Here is a free program from microsoft : Virtual PC It is not fully featured but come close and probably would do everything you need it to. I just recently bought VMware Workstation 6.5 and all I can say is wow. It has DX9 support and you can almost play any game inside a virtual machine.

My next thing that I am trying to do is get OS X 10.5 running on my computer. There are people already doing this so I know it's possible just a little tricky. Heres a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMMio8wvZ0s

I agree Virtual machine are fun but Virtual machines tend to limit the possibilities. As for OS X, thats against the law and against forum rules.

In Canada The EULA is different and it's legal to do. I never thought about the legalities of it before I posted because it is not an issue here (Canada).

In VMware Workstation there is barely anything you cannot do. For most users it's more than enough. Even Windows version is enough for most users.
