Windows 8 Laptop ??

I recently bought a HP Laptop with Windows 8. It has 8 GB or RAM and 1 TB HD.

When I am listening to Pandora Radio or playing the game Lumosity after about 2 hours I lose the connection.

I only have 1 or the other running, NEVER both at the same time. Also, when I do have 1 or the other up, I have no other programs running. The screen pops up and says loading and of course if listening to the radio it stops playing.

The router is brand new. We do have other computers and they NEVER have any issues of dropping the connection. But they do NOT have Pandora Radio or Lumosity on their computers.

Any idea what could be the problem ? Its driving my wife nuts.

It might be Windows 8, I have had the same problem on my current laptop which I upgrade to Windows 8. I will be doing something online and after about one to two hours it drops connection even though my router is still sending signal to all my other devices with no problems.
 
I have the TP-Link Router, model #TL-WDR4300. Its wireless N750 Dual Band.

What happens is the music will stop playing and immediately a screen pops up saying loading or not available.
