Do you mean that you want to create a new email because your current one won't work properly. Or do you mean the software? I assume you mean the first one.
So your email address now is something along the lines of
[email protected] or @hotmail.co.uk or something like that.
You can create a gmail account (google) by going to this page:
www.google.co.uk/mail
and clicking create account. Do as it says, and your new email will be <your username>@gmail.com
So, say I made a gmail account called aastii, when I wanted to go and check my emails, I would
1. go to
www.gmail.com
2. type in
username: aastii
password: xxxxxx
and hit enter or sign in, and you are now into your emails. Say I wanted to give you my new email address, the address would be:
[email protected]
All the tools are down the left hand side:
Mail - figure it out
Contacts - again...
Tasks - this is like a little reminder notebook. It will pop up in the bottom right of your window if you click it
Compose Mail - This is where you will be writing your emails. The layout and everything is the same as just about every other email client
Inbox - Your inbox
Buzz - Think of it like twitter, but with pictures and videos, not just text
Starred - These are special emails. You pick which you want to star, it may be one with contact information on, one not to get rid of, one you want to send to someone else, if you star an email for whatever reason, it will go here
Sent mail - Self explanatory
Drafts - If you stop writing an email part way through, it will be saved here for you to continue on, or if you no longer need it, to scrap later on
Under the arrow with 6 more are your spam and trash folders, so you can check if anything got sent to spam by accident there, or get back deleted emails there. Emails are deleted permanently after being in your trash folder for (I think) 2 weeks
