Had an Windows 10 update and I'm about to lose my files. I don't know what to do and feel like they are trying to have me save to some cloud and I do not want to have anything to do with moving my files to the internet.

Below is a photo of the screen:

Just press continue. Its not an update. It's just saying it couldn't back up your data. What were you trying to do when this popped up?

I haven't used this desktop in awhile and I noticed a very large Win10 automatic update came up on my laptop that actually fixed some problems I had. So I turned on my desktop to do an update on it, but it started updating completely on its own and I ended up with this pop-up before even logging in.

I had already backed up the desktop months ago, but I could not fit all the files on my flash drive. I still have a lot of irreplaceable photos and historic family documents on it and I'm afraid I'll lose them.

Then it sounds like its telling you that it couldn't finish backing up your files due to not enough space. You most likely shut it down without finishing the process. As I said, you just need to click on continue.

Well I was worried that the computer might shut off so I pressed the continue and it went straight to desktop without logging in.
I don't know what happened, but it looks like all my files are still there. I need to buy something to backup all my files ASAP before I lose everything.
