Wierd Issue with Movies

So this has been going on for a few months now but I can't seem to figure it out in the least.

The issue is when I am watching a movie at random times I get a clear bars in the middle of the screen for half a second then they go away. Its always in the direct middle of the MOVIE not the screen but where the movie itself is at.

The thing is if I make the movie small box smaller then my screen...it will only do it in the media player...I use k-lite codecs and I have tried other players all do it.

This never happens in video games or hulu.com (though it does happen on hulu when I navigate their "new" selection on the main screen the little arrows left/right)

So I thought at first it was my GPU causing the issue...but now I have a GTX 260 and it still does it.

Then I thought monitor and nope CRT did it too.

Then I thought corrupt installs/klite did a format and still does it.

My question is could my hard drive possibly in any form cause such a issue? I really can't test it.

I am at witts end here I can't think of any other issues other then possible monitor failure or a setting is off some where.

Any help would be appreciated...this is one of those non-life ending but horrible annoying situations.

Well not the HD (didn't think so but was hoping) and its not klite tried a older codec pack.

strange issue.

Another small update....was running Real Media Player and the same bar happens but at the bottom of the movie.

Unable to screenshot since it appears normal when I put it in paint.

Bit of a long shot- but there's no harm in trying- have you tried messing with your RAM? running one stick, trying different slots etc etc.

nope but will try it.

*edit*

Nope still same issue running a memtest just incase.
