Who is the new CEO of apple? and why I am tense over the fact that steve is gone...

Anyone know what the new CEO of apple's name is?
And I am tense because I always loved that DUHHHH.... that came when you turned on the apple computers, and apparently that noise was only kept through all the apple PCs beacuse steve loved it and now he is gone it may be dumped... and there might be a new noise
 
OvenMaster, it's a sound that is played on initial bootup before the OS loads, I believe it's built into the firmware of the machine.

Yeah it's built in, shame. To get it out I would have to find a way to hack into the processer.

Not the processor. You'd have to somehow flash the firmware from an older machine onto a newer machine and I doubt that you can even do that and even if you could, I bet it goes against Apple's EULA.
 
Oh, okay. Sorry... I keep thinking "Windows Startup" sound that's replaceable. I'm totally clueless about anything Apple makes.
