On the lighter side i took classes in QS9000 internal auditing and Microsoft Project Management. the company asked if interested and they would pay. Yes. Never had a class in IT certification but the payed and sent me to classes for exam.
Payed also for certification at the hotel from QS9000 internal auditing and Project Management. I would look for classes. if ya had the training already, you want a quick review of everything you learned. this is it. Not cheap. its a prep course of everything. take the crash. call Microsoft. ask where. they know. good luck.
Funny thing.
somebody ask if i was interested in Microsoft certification course for I.T.
went to a maybe a 4 day class at this hotel for microsoft. company asked why was he going. (i was a electronic man and electrician) by trade. He said i asked him and you signed for it. that was about $2000 dollars for a review.
honest ..........i new about 3/4 of what they were talking about.
more fun stuff and interesting.
cheers...
Another note:
I always had a big interest in project management.
Talked to a friend a while back. Premavera. want to build a skyscraper
or a city or a major outage for a year in industry. get certified.
headed over seas. certified in Premavera management.
$200.00 an hour to start.
give me a break...........
Yeah but does Microsoft have any certification programs here in Utah. Around the Orem Provo areas?
I want to start off with the A+ certification. Which I should be able to take the test and pass it easily. I want to go after Network certifications and go for the Microsoft certifications.
It's just so hard to know where to go because no one in my family are very knowledgeable with computers so it's pretty hard for asking the right people where do you go to get certified.
I want to go into the field of Network Security. But it's ok if I don't end up there as the certifications would allow for greater flexibility of other careers.
Would like to eventually do some CISO certifications as well.
