Hi All, as you may be aware, I am moving to the UK this summer, where will I be able to buy power cables for my monitors and power supplies? Im guessing they'll be about £1 each or so?

Thanks!

Homebase / B&Q / Wickes / Focus / Wilkinsons - are all like Home Depot.

Then you got places like Poundland etc. which sells all kinds of crap and the odd useful thing! And you've always got eBay..

Where are you moving too in the UK...? Doug.

We are moving back to the UK because my Dad's job is moving him back (and im British too, originally from Lancashire).

We are moving to Northern Cambridgeshire or Southern Lincolnshire.

yeah or any electrical store, IEC cable are easy to get hold of.
just bear in mind that the UK runs on 230 volt so if you goods aren't auto-switching or have a switch on them, you will need to replace them, make sure you check before you leave.

You can still shop at places like tigerdirect.com and newegg.com

im pretty sure they are operating with different power plugs over there, and since tigerdirect and newegg are american stores, they won't carry cables for british outlets. they might have converters, but he wants cables.

Any electrical store, it's also known and used as a "kettle lead" over here
Just remember to switch your PSU to 240v if it has that facility.
