Where in room to put sub?

Hey guys, I have these altec Lansing 2:1 speakers. I have the sub located about a foot to the right of my computer. Where should I put it to get the best bass? Here's a photo of the area I'm dealing with, thanks!

i bought a bose sound system for the tv.
the manual says middle in the back.
i ran the woofer wiring in the basement to the back of
the living room. 3 speakers in the front and two in the back also.

right or wrong, it works well. same in the computer room.
5 speaker system and woofer.

I agree with what he says ,I find i get the best Bass from the Sub on my Logitech X-540s with it been under my desk

I think the X-540s are great,I only paid £29.99 for them too on a deal,theyre worth about £55-60 i think so not bad

Bass is omnidirectional, you can put the sub anywhere you like. Under your desk, behind the couch, in a corner of the room.

ii think we all have the same damn surround sound haha but i use a 15 inch kicker for my bass not the built in one

To get the "best bass" simply test it in the different locations you're considering on putting it. That's the best way to find out.
