Whats this for.

Hi all i found this ( 915fc5ce4eedebe359c4) on my computer and can find nothing about it can you help,cheers.

Is it a folder or a file? Sometimes programs leave these when installing.

do i delete it then as i dont know what it's for or leave it.

Open it up and browse through if it's a folder, see what files are in it. Probably safe to delete it, though. It's on C:\, correct?

It says network file and folder sharing and contains 115 Files, 27 Folders but i dont understand what they are or what they relate to.

It's in the root directory, correct? And did you look at the files in there?

How big is that folder, anyway?

194 MB is that big for a file folder.

That's pretty big.
I think you can safely delete it, only setup programs leave this behind. Did you install anything recently that you know of? Like something from M$?

lol. Well, try moving it somewhere first, and then after, say, a month without issues pointing to it, delete the folder.

what do you mean moving it somewhere at the moment it's on my desktop.

Did you put it [the mysterious folder] there yourself, or did it appear one day?
When I say move it somewhere else, I mean move it to a different directory-like creating a new folder on the desktop or somewhere else and putting the other folder in it.

Sorry mate they will tell you on here i know nothing about computers.I found the folder in section C when i was deleting a file that was left over after i uninstalled a game.
