whats better?

Yes, the creative, without a doubt. The audigy SE is a step up from entry level, where the realtek is entry level. Most entry level integrated sound is alright unless you have a large speaker system, and you really want to power it, and get optimal sound. In that case, you'd be looking at a better sound device. The difference is minimal between the two specified, and if you were building a new machine, and wondering if you should get that card, I'd say just keep the integrated, it'll serve you just fine on a two speaker configuration.

I have both cards and the AC'97 makes alot of noise when listening to music
Then to me it sounds like something is wrong with the device or driver, because I use Realtek AC' 97 and it's given me zero trouble for almost two years.

The Realtek ALC650 is very good, in my oppinion. But it can sometimes make a little noise but it's good enough for my 5.1 system.

Yea, integrated sound is usually good enough for those except hardcore games and audiophiles.

The creative is much better, it's also known for better quality sound cards.
Well of course a dedicated card is going to be better than interegated sound, but interegated is fine for people that don't game much or like really good sound.

At the entry level it's almost about even, but Audigy SE is the high entry level, so it is more powerful. I still don't think anyone would notice any difference on even the largest of sound systems, unless they were a true audiophile.
