Whats a good gaming headphones or headset????

I just bought an xfi card and it sounds great on my speakers even though they are out dated creative dtt2200. but at night is when i do most of my gaming which i cannot blast the volume due too family sleeping. well i was thinkin of buying some headphones but i am clueless on which ones are good. im looking for mainly a good gaming one with good positioning audio and that benifits best when plugged into my x-fi. thanks

Um i am not 2 sure about the headphone market but i use mine for late gamin and its acoustic noise cancelling headphones...Quiet Comfort 2...and i have the x-fi platinum...and i highly recommend these ones i am sure there are alot of the same types out there and i know they are a bit pricy but i use mine all day long...i use them at univ...late night gamin...so pretty much all day..and they rock man i have bought some cheaper 100ish headphones and i just don't like em' that much...these ones i bought over a year ago and no problems yet and they have a sweet warranty on em' but i am sure there are similar for cheaper out ther..
