What Is Your PC/Laptop's Boot Time?

I went a-searchin' for a topic like this and didn't happen to see one. I apologize in advance if in fact there has already been a thread created in the past asking users to post their system(s) boot time(s).

I use the maintenance platform Toolwiz Care to keep my Inspirion desktop and Latitude streamlined and functioning as it should. The cool thing about this free little program, other than the fact it is crammed with features, is that it gives you the option to see your boot results in relation to other user's times. It's kind of like the Ookla speed test except lesser known and it involves rating your system's individual startup processes instead of your internet connection.

Anyways, here's mine. I definitely see a memory upgrade in the near future.

EDIT: Apparently program compatibility is up to Windows 7 on the Toolwiz Care install. Link updated to MajorGeeks mirror site.

Total boot time on my E6420 is 33.31 seconds after I hit the power button. 21.85 seconds to boot to the logon screen, and 11.45 to type my password and have the machine be usable.

That's with a 256GB Crucial M500 SSD and Windows 7.

No where on the Toolwiz website is there any reference that I could find for a program called Toolwiz Care. I found it listed on MajorGeeks and one of the mirrors was listed as the Toolwiz website. However, clicking on that link gives a 404 error. Looks like Toolwiz no longer produces that software.

I did get it downloaded from a different mirror, installed it and tried the "Boot report". My Win 8.1 laptop with 500GB Samsung 840 EVO ssd boots to the Desktop in about 30 seconds or so (never actually timed it). The Boot report claimed it took 5800 minutes to boot. Edit: Timed my boot time at 19 secs.

My computer takes 16 seconds (timed, not with software) from hitting the power button. Probably because I have no startup programs except for RealTek Audio Manager

Can't wait to see how fast my new rig (in signature) boots after I get it up and running this weekend.

Just under 20 seconds.. Laptop is much faster at around 14 sometimes 10 on a good day. It doesn't have anything but barebones 8.1 running with auto login.

Yeah, I probably should have mentioned that it is compatible up to Win7. I've never had the issue of Toolwiz Care popping out a defunct boot time.

So...96 hours, huh? Your 'puter all right? lol :D

On a desktop core i5 2500 k, 80 gb WD hardrive, 8 gb RAM, Windows 8, about 25 seconds.

On a cheap Toshiba Satellite laptop $225, intel Celeron (dual core), 500 gb harddrive, 16 gb RAM, Windows 8, about 20 seconds.
