What is the largest partition size of new technology filing system (NTFS) using Windows XP 32-bit operating system? I have read the largest partition size is 2 terabytes. Is this true?

For your boot partition 2TB is the max, while if it is just a slave drive(drive not holding the mbr) then its quite a bit higher, but im not sure on the exact size limit for slave drives.

I was searching the Internet today. I do believe 16 exabytes is the biggest partition size NTFS supports if it is not a boot partition.

1024 gigabytes makes 1 terabyte (TB). 1024 TB makes 1 petabyte (PB). 1024 PB makes 1 exabyte (EB). There are 1,099,511,627,776 megabytes in one exabyte (1.099 trillion megabytes).

or, 922337203685477580 bytes :P

=EDIT=

forgot to make it 19 exabytes, that is only 1 :P

it would be 175244068700240740352 bytes in 19 exabytes

16 exabytes! how am i am ever gonna be able to store the internet on that thing?!

they reckon that the whole data of everywhere in the world in every computer and storage device doesn't reach 1 exabyte yet, but within the next year or so it will, and about a year after that it will double :P I think i have that right, I read an article about it some time back and i think that is it, i am about 90% certain those aare about the right figures
