What is it if the format is .bin??

Binary file. Needs a specific app plus a .tbl file to view it typically.

I use binary files to re-program vehicle CPU's, you flash the file to the chip using a willem programmer.

They are also a common format for disk images.

I know those cpu's/computers in cars and stuff. their basically an 8-bit switch aren't they? :) I saw one at TAFE.

8 bit for 87-older usually 16 bit for 88-91. I don't know what they are once OBD came in.

I was pointing out that most things can simply be answered by searching to find the answer, and doesn't need us to help him.

my area of file format expertise expires at .m4p & .m4a
