what is bottlenecking my graphic card?

I recently picked up an asus 275 and i'm quite pleased with it but I think something in my rig is creating a bottleneck. I can max out most of my games but a few titles like arma 2 and world in conflict give me trouble, I can only set the video settings to medium before the game starts to lag.

Here's my setup

intel 6600 quad core 2.4 ghz
asus 275
4gb ddr2
acer aspire m5620

I can't find much info about that acer motherboard, not even on the acer site, does anyone think that component could be the problem? Am I expecting too much from this video card?

I would say the Q6600 is the issue here. If you buy a after-market cooler and overclock it to 3.0ghz-3.2ghz should help out a lot.

Also whats your PSU as stated above. Mind you MOST Q6600 can get 3.0ghz without a voltage bump (mine was like that)

the q6600 bottlenecking? no chance, i'm running a HD3870 with a Q6600 and maxing out nigh on everything i play without issue, no overclock, stock speeds

To check the speed/motherboard info/ram info, etc.

To check the temps and cpu fan speed.

Like they said though. stock Q6600 aren't that good, they sell because you can get a solid 600mhz overclock per core without extra juice usually.

Thanks for the links, ok here's what I got under idle, I have no idea wtf im looking at:o

So is that regular for a stock cpu or am I as lucky as Twist86?
