basically the title says it all just interested as to why 64bit is so great cause i have it but dont know the difference.

Some apps are 32-bit, and some are 64-bit. You can run apps that are 32 or 64 bit on systems with a 64-bit OS. With a 32-bit OS you can run 32bit apps, but not 64-bit ones unless you download some third-party software that converts 64-bit apps into 32-bit apps. 64-bit also allows your system to utilise more than 3.2GB of RAM, which is important. Currently most apps are 32-bit, but most apps are available in both 32 and 64 bit.
For any new computer, go for 64-bit OS

ok but future quotes are imposible to predict as they havent happened yet. so i should just accept its a future quote which makes no sense and forget about it.

It is meant to be satirical, not literal, saying MS are such a power, and such a large company that in the future nothing will stand up to them, and it is easier to just accept that they are now "at the top", rather than try to resist them

so by satire you mean its sposed to make us think what a big company they are and how helpless we are to do anything about it. It sure dose make you think we are completely in there power.

Satire is meant to be poking fun at society, which the quote does about Microsoft, it is a mild mocking of it's power and how it is essentially a monopoly

sooooo....anyway.....

If you want more than 3.2GB of RAM, you want 64 bit. That's all most people need to know.
