i wanted to know if you are looking for a job in IT field what do you has more value
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science
or some other vendor specific certifications like CCNP, MCITP, Comptia A+, Linux+, Network+, etc.

I would have to say the degree would have more value. In this economy employers can be very picky so they will often be looking for someone that has a degree, experience and certs.

and for interview they will look at communication skills.
don't talk to much and stay on subject.

Experience. The most valued thing. The diploma is not so important when you have experience. That's why i started to work in the first year of college, so i can gain more experience. No amount of good grades can value as much as 3 years of experience in the domain.

I have several friends that would disagree with you. Off of the top of my head I can think of 4 friends that all have 25+ years of experience in their field but no degree. I have 25+ years of experience with a degree. My friends get laid off more often then I do (I've been laid off once in the last 40 years) and when they're out of work, it takes them a long time (2-3 years) to find another job. Several had to change careers because they couldn't find jobs. Each has told me that, if they could do it over again, they would've gotten a degree.

Many employers (especially in the current economy) in the tech field won't even consider you unless you have a degree.

It's a catch-22 situation though as a degree and no experience makes it hard to land a job as well. It's great advice to work while going to college (I did the same) so that once the degree is completed you are good to go.

A degree is always going to be preferrable to other types of education. A bachelor degree not only shows that you have some sticktuitiveness (because it takes 4 years to complete), but it also shows you are somewhat well-rounded (because 2 of those years are in general studies, not specific to your major). And don't worry about the time it takes to get it. Once you get out in the workforce, you'll wonder why you were in such a big hurry to get there.

Bottom line - if you have the opportunity to get a bachelor's (many people don't), you'd be a fool not to take it.

you can be the smartest guy in a box, and have all the papers in the world, but to get a good job you need to be charismatic. most people interviewing for jobs are not the people that know the job, but somebody from HR.

i would also say knowing somebody that can pull you in. seen it happen often. goes back to been charismatic, getting to know people, making connections, etc.

If you want to have the best resume, focus on getting a degree and just use certifications to accompany it.

If you want to conserve cash and time, I suggest a Bachelor's in CS with a couple certifications like Security+ and Network+ to fortify the degree.
