What do you think about ordering a refurbished sound system?

Would you buy a refurb system over a new system logitech system?

i'm thinking about ordering a refurbished Logitech Z-5300 system on ebay because they can be had for cheaper than the z-2300 are on newegg. Would you buy the refurb with 80w more or would you buy the new z-2300's??
 
For me it depends on the Price, if it is a substantial price difference (including shipping) then yes I would, but if it is just a few bucks I would rather purchase with a warranty. I have purchased factory refurbished things with no problems and I really wouldnt worry to much about a speaker system, like I said take into account things like the seller feedback, it is factory refurbished or is the seller just saying its refurbished, is the price difference worth buying used and not new, things like that. Thats just my opinion
 
Well, I've bought a refurb computer and had no problem with it. I can get a z-5300 factory refurbished from atleast 5 different stores on ebay with the lowest feedback rating about 98%. The z5300 would be $120 shipped to my house where the Z-2300 would be about $140 shipped to my house through newegg and the Z-5300 would be about $170 shipped to my house from newegg. So i'd be saving $50 on a $140 speaker system, thats somewhere around a 35% savings.
