what do i need?

I have two computers in my house so I was wondering if there was a way I could connect these two wirelessly. All of my music and files are on this computer and I want to be able to acces them from my other computer without having to transfer them. So, can I set up a small network in my house?

Right now, I have a router set up to my modem so I can get internet on each computer. Everything is set up to this computer, and the laptop is connected wirelessly. I did not install anything on my lap top though, it can connect to the modem without any outside hardware.

So, I was wondering if anyone can give me a website or guide to doing this. If you need to know anything just ask and hopefully I can answer. I tried doing it on my own but I couldn't figure it out.

You said that you want to access from other computer.
You could set up 'shared folder' and access it if you are going to use it only in the house.
Way to do that is go to 'my computer' on the computer that you want to access remotely, and right click with mouse on your hard-disk.
And there should be a menu that called shared folder.
Choose the name of shared folder and set up password is your choice.
When you are finished with that, go to other computer and click 'My Network Place' --> 'Workgroup' --> find your computer's name and double click it.
Now you are in your other computer.
