with no provoking of such things, my sound will completely play at about 4xs normal speed. So everything is Alvin and the Chipmunks type music. and it won't stop! It'll do it for no reason! It'll just happen! Why!

World of Warcraft and a media player... it does it randomly. It's really annoying! Restart fixes it!

Uninstall and reinstall would make the most since, could be an issue with your OS as well possibly?
