Weird problem with mic

I changed over to the thermal take armour and i have a weird problem.

Both my front and rear mic holes do the same - when i speak on team speak or skype it sends them my voice and my OUTPUT echoing over and over and over until i mute my mic. I have the coolermaster musketter also.

What could be the problem? Thanks.

Sounds like feedback. You should really use a headset when your using Skype or Teamspeak.

Mute the mic under playback, but be sure it's seclected under recording. That should fix it.

I have tried that - its all fine but it doesnt do it when i record only when i use like voip like skype....

Ok i found one issue now its ust the front - i Have intel hd AUDIO AND THE FRONT AUDIO PORTS ARE ac ' 97 - SO I HAVE LEFT RETURN L AND RETURN R OFF AS THE MOBO MANUAL SAYS - ITS THERE ANYWAY I CAN SOLVE THIS?

Thanks for all the help I have solved my problem!

With some modding i was able to wire it up as HD Audio now and its perfect! Thanks for the support people above tho. Great forum keep it up!
