Hello all,

I need some website advice!

I'll be starting up a big forum website within the next few weeks, and i'm in need of some advice.

1. - Where can i get free website layouts??? i know off www.free-css.com
2. - How do i install / upload / publish the layout onto my website???
3. - Are the templates easy to edit?
4. - I will be using forums... so... i need to have it so, if you click on the Travelling forum, it comes up with the travel forum, and it keep the main website layout. i know i need to keep the same style sheet... but i need more help.
5. - In a forum, is it good to have a main forum, and then a sub-forum, and then another sub-forum, is that a good or a bad idea???
6. - Where is the best, easiest, and cheapest way of buying a domain???

I have done some research, and i want to be able to buy a domain via paypal, and i want it to be cheap. Godaddy, i think it is, is not cheap for what domain i want.

Anyhelp would be good, even if you could answer one question, that would be great!

I have some answers for some of your questions.

2. Depending on what hosting you're doing, you'll most likely use FTP to upload all your content. But you could just get a free forum service.

5. I think you can have as many forums/subforums as you want, as long as it's all organized.

6. I would go with GoDaddy. Domains are cheap no matter what you're getting.

I would recomend using PHPBB if you know FTP and PHP and using FileZilla to upload your content to your hoster.

Oh i see no wonder its so flashy lol i just thought it was poker die to a picture of people sitting round a poker table thats all.:)
