Web Remote Desktop

Hi, A while back I made a Web Remote Desktop Connection and now I have decided to go one step further and make a concurrent conenction (for those who don't know, it means I am able to connect to my computer remotely without it logging whoever is on the main computer off!!!)

The problem is though is that it doesn't work i have replaced the files that need replacing etc but it doesn't work, i fear that this could be because it is a web connection and maybe it will only work with normal Remote Desktop on a network or whatever.

Does anyone have any ideas if this is the case and whether or not i could actually get it to work?

Thanks in advance

Sam

If you do it from outside your network you will need to install IIS and the windows root server. This is a little complicated for the average user, but can be done.

If you want a remote connection software which is MUCH better than RDC then try www.logmein.com There is a free version which doesnt require port forwarding, or anything complicated. Run a program, thats it. I have been using it for more than a year now.

I use logmein, too. the free version allows you to connect to your comp from ANY web connected device with a web browser (compatable with firefox, too) but as far as I know, you are forced to use the active user account (just not concurrent, you can log out and still remote control)
