web cam? digital camera?

Almost any camera that is fairly new can be used as a digital camera, check the menu in the camera and see if it has an option to be used as a WebCam.

Another little trick I've done in the past...most capturecards work just like webcams... So, you can take anything that has TV-OUT and plug it in to be your webcam ;) I've used my TV-OUT from my video card before, my camcorder, and even my digital camera(well, an old one with TV-OUT)

As someone said, many camera's today have webcam features. Particually the cheaper ones do, but some higher up ones do as well... Your best bet is to just find a camera and look for a manual on it. They can usally be downloaded quite eaislly.

so were you webcamming someone with say...Wheel of Fortune on channel 7??

No no... I was using the TV-OUT(what is normally used to connect the the TV) to connect into a video capture card on my computer. WIth a capture card, it can show anything as a webcam...so I could use a camera with TV Out, a game system, TV, my comp's TV Out, etc...
