Wanting to build a Steam Machine

Hello everyone I am wanting to build a steam machine, could someone help me? I am looking for something of a actual console size I can put in my entertainment stand. I was looking at a Mini-ITX but wouldn't I be limited on my PSU? I am just wanting something dual core, 760 GTX (possibility of upgrade in future), 6-8 GB of RAM and a TB HDD 7200 RPM and preferably two usb ports up front. Is this possible for under $800? I am literally only using this for steam OS. Thanks for any help.

With GTX760, you probably need PSU for 450W. It would be difficult with console size.

If you look for small case, probably SilverStone SG05BB-450-USB3.0 is one of the small one has 450W
And make sure you get a shorter card.

What is the size you need to fit with?

When are you building? In 4 to 8 months, I can almost guarantee you a ton of PC cases will flood the market that are Steam Box oriented, so they will be small and look a bit like a console.

I am hoping to have it built here in the next month or so. I might wait to see what cases come out. I can see your point though as I see this as big opportunity for case OEM's.

Here's a great steam box case. Full size PCIe and tiny, though you'll need a PCIe adapter so that the GPU can be mounted sideways, like this:
