Volume troubles

I recently downloaded the newest version of Real Player, and since then, I haven't been able to use my headphones when listening to music or doing anything on my computer. I have since uninstalled Real Player, preferring Winamp, but I still get no sound through my headphones.

The sound works fine coming from the speakers, and I've tried two other headphones to see if they were the problem, but they aren't.

Have you gone through the master volume control stack in windows? Realplayer controls the system audio levels when you adjust the sound in the player. Make sure its turned up.

I'm looking at the volume options right now, and am not quite sure which one controls the headphones one. I haven't changed them before, so I don't know where they'd be.

All of them are up, and the headphones still don't work.
