volume is not the same

I dont know why the volume of my computer has decrease even i adjusted to the highest. Is there any problem with my speaker or soundcard ? thx.

What sound card you using?
Have you Installed the lastest drivers and software for your sound card?
Did you do anything to your soundcard/pc for this to happen...

i am using soundmax
Audio Adapter is VIA AC'97 Enhanced Audio Controller
and i dont know how to find the latest drivers of this soundcard, but i have the driver and software at all.
I have just installed the Vista Transformation Pack 6, and the volume got decreases

i have uninstalled the Vista Transformation Pack, but the volume did not change back to normal.How can I solve it ?
