Visioneer Paper Port 6100b Scanner & ME

I have a 6100b parallel port scanner that worked under Windows 98SE but won't work under Windows ME. (I upgraded only as an easy way to get rid of the networking software from the used computer.) I can't find an ME driver.
 
Fix for ME problem

The CD-ROM that comes with the scanner actually has an ME driver, but it won't run. Solution: After installation SHLWAPI.DLL exists both in Windows and in the Paprport file. I changed the latter to SHLWAPI.OLD and everything now works.
