can i get infected from my brother's computer through a share internet connection? it's through a wired router.

Virus

Transferring the infected file over the network would do it, but it also depends on the type of virus. Some virues are programed to look for LAN connections and to then transmit themselves to anything connected to that LAN. A good virus will replacate itself as much as possible. A good firewall would help prevent this from happening.

i personally wouldnt risk it i would either turn off the other computer or get rid of all the virus's because most of any virus you get will spread over the lan so i just wouldnt connect them at all but thats just me
